Prose & Ponder is our monthly literary fiction book club. Each month, members receive a selected book to read before gathering at Books & Botanicals for thoughtful—and sometimes wonderfully opinionated—conversation.

We’ll talk about the writing, characters, themes, choices, endings, and all those moments that made us stop and think. You don’t need a literature degree or the “right” interpretation of the book. Bring your thoughts, your questions, and your perspective.

Daggers & Desire is where magic, mayhem, forbidden attraction, morally gray love interests, and a little spice are always welcome.

Each month, members receive a newly released romantasy title filled with magical realms, powerful characters, enemies-to-lovers tension, betrayals, battles, impossible choices, slow burns—and hopefully a little heat along the way.

When we gather, nothing is off the table: the world-building, plot twists, characters we would absolutely go to war for, red flags we happily ignored, and whether that slow burn was actually worth the wait.

Little readers have to start somewhere—and we think the very best place to begin is surrounded by books.

Little Sprouts is created especially for babies through age five and a parent, grandparent, caregiver, or other grown-up.

Each month, our Little Sprouts gather for a cozy storytime led by a Books & Botanicals bookseller. After the story, children get to explore a special selection of books and do something very important: choose TWO books of their very own to take home and keep!

Giving little readers the opportunity to choose their own books makes reading personal and exciting while helping build their very own home libraries.

Come hear a story, explore the books, and help grow a lifelong love of reading—one Little Sprout at a time.

Book Buds is for our growing readers who are ready to experience a book club of their very own.

Each month, members read a selected book and then gather at Books & Botanicals for a fun, age-appropriate discussion. We might talk about favorite characters, funny moments, surprising parts, what we would have done differently, and whether we would recommend the book to a friend.

Each gathering also includes a snack and juice, bookish fun, and a chance to win a bookish prize.

There are no perfect answers required. Book Buds is about helping children become confident readers who know that their ideas and opinions about books matter.

The Chapter Chasers is a monthly club for 4th–6th grade readers who love stories, want to explore new genres, and enjoy talking about books with other readers.

Each month, Chapter Chasers read a selected book and then meet at Books & Botanicals to discuss it. What surprised us? Who was our favorite character? What would we change? Would we recommend it? And—most importantly—was it worth the read?

Members enjoy their selected monthly book, a relaxed book discussion, a snack and drink, and a chance to win a bookish prize.

It’s a welcoming space for kids to share their opinions, hear different perspectives, meet other readers, and discover books they may never have picked up on their own.

Ready to enter the plot?

Enter the Plot is our monthly YA book club for readers ready to discover new stories, new authors, and maybe even a genre they never thought they'd love.

This isn't a one-genre club. One month might take us into an epic fantasy world, while the next could bring romance, mystery, thriller, contemporary fiction, or something completely unexpected.

We’ll talk about the characters we loved, the ones we definitely didn't, the plot twists we never saw coming, the moments that made us laugh or broke our hearts, and whether the book actually lived up to the hype.

Each gathering includes the selected YA book, discussion with other readers, a snack and drink, and a chance to win a bookish prize.

You don't have to read 100 books a year to belong here. You just have to be willing to enter the plot and see where the story takes you.
